The COPAL Floor Heating Cable
The COPAL floor heating cable is very thin (3/32(3mm))and does not require a protecting mass of mortar to surround the installation. Thus there is no noticeable change in floor elevation when the system is installed on any existing subfloor.
The finished floor surface becomes an efficient radiator of approximately 12 watts per square foot.
The cable creates a very comfortable floor surface.
The installation on plywood floor is made with a wire type stapler,like the t-25 with
+- 7/16 inch. fastener.
Install the cable with a 2 inch interval as main heating or a 3 inches
interval as secondary heating.
The cable is designed to be installed between ceramic tile and the subfloor.
With the system so close to the floor surface,the heat comes through the floor-covering within minutes.
The cable is available in pre-determined lengths that cover a surface area of 25 to 165 square feet.
The COPAL floor heating cable was developed to fully comply with all applicable C.S.A. certification test requirements and thus is a fully grounded wire with an amoured element and plastic cover.
The COPAL floor heating cable is generally intended for residential bathroom,kitchen and sunroom areas or in a basement where children play on the floor.
