COPAL GFRC PANELS FOR GREENHOUSE PLANTATION

  • Test done by (CIDES) center ,information ,development, experimental,in greenhouse in St-Hyacinthe (CIDES) with the collaboration of Hydro-Quebec. Using Copal heating panel under tomato, pimento and concomber plant. Report on tv at 'la Semaine Verte' august 31 2008 that you can review on the Radio-Canada archive.
Review of the report 'la semaine verte'august 31 2008 :
''CIDES has done many test and they find the technic to expand the vegetation season .To optimize the development of the plants , they put their feet on heat over Copal heating panels ; disseminated in the middle winter the young plants have grown rapidly''
''the test provided result from single to doubled and decreased the term of the culture''
''We have done some energetic test and we got finally a smaller energy invoice
with a diminution of 40 % ''
'' The Copal heating panel expand the number of chemical reactions in the gound and root ; thus provide a better growth of the plant and an hasty flowering ''
''Copal heating panel give an optimum condition for culture''

Temperature of the heating panel control at 22 celcius with an electronic thermostat with a floor sensor.
Consumption of the Copal heating panel using on the test is 12 watts/quare/meter but they can be made much higher on request. The max. wide is 4 feet by 10 feet long maximum
The heating panels are +- 1/2 inch tick. 6 pounds/square/feet. They can be made with small hole to drain water.
Programmable thermostat complete with floor sensor. thermostat can control a maximum surface of 300 square/feet, 12 watts/square/feet on 240 volts voltage on request.
